Robin's Sugar Cookies

I'm always in search of the "PERFECT" sugar cookie and this is my current favorite. If you have a favorite please let me know as my search is ongoing...

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cram of tartar

Mix the first 5 ingredients still fluffly and then mix in remaining ingredients. Bake at 375 on greased cookie sheet for 7-8 min. Makes 5 dozen (unless your kids help you and it makes considerably less).
